 |
| We accept responsibility for
ensuring that all parts of the holiday are supplied as described
in this brochure and that all services reach a reasonable standard.
However if any failure or improper performance of these services
is attributable to the fault of the client, or the unforeseeable
or unavoidable actions of an unconnected third party, or to
unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our or our suppliers'
control, including force majeure, we shall not be liable. |
| |
| In the event of all difficulties,
we will try to give prompt assistance and find appropriate solutions. |
| |
 |
| In common with other package
tour organisers, we have to make a charge to offset our costs
in the event of cancellations. If you have to cancel your booking
or if any member of the party on whose behalf you have signed
the booking form has to cancel, we must be informed in writing
by the person who has signed the booking form. Charges vary
according to the period of notice given. This will date from
our receipt of your cancellation in writing. Whatever the reason
for cancellation, your deposit and any insurance premium paid
to Learn Italy will be forfeited, though your insurance may
cover you against total loss. Further charges will be made according
to the following scale: |
| |
| 42-29 days prior to the Sunday
the holiday starts: 30% of holiday cost |
| 28-15 days prior to the Sunday
the holiday starts: 45% of holiday cost |
| 14-1 days prior to the Sunday
the holiday starts: 60% of holiday cost |
| The Sunday the holiday starts:
100% of total holiday cost |
| |
| If the reasons for your cancellation
are covered by your insurance policy, you will be able to make
a claim under it. |
| |
 |
| We reserve the right to modify
or cancel any holiday and any of its constituent parts if unforeseen
circumstances arise. We also reserve the right to cancel a holiday
due to insufficient bookings. If we have to cancel your holiday,
we will offer you an alternative Learn Italy holiday, or make
a full refund of your money. |
| |
| We reserve the right to cancel
the participation on a holiday of any client whose behaviour
in the opinion of a representative of the company is causing
excessive annoyance, distress or damage. We shall be under no
liability for any costs incurred in such circumstances. |
| |
 |
| The price of the holiday will
be held and no surcharges will be imposed less than thirty days
before departure. Before this, in the event of an adverse change
of 5% or more in the rate of exchange between the pound and
the Euro, we may have to notify you of a surcharge. In the unlikely
event of this surcharge exceeding 10% of the quoted price you
will have the right to cancel your holiday with a full refund
(excluding insurance premiums) within fourteen days from receiving
written notification from us, otherwise the surcharge will be
deemed to have been accepted by you. The holidays in this brochure
were priced on the following rate of exchange: Euro 1.4/£1
sterling. |
| |
 |
| As we want your holiday to
be a success, and work hard to achieve this aim, we take all
complaints seriously. Problems should first be reported to our
representatives in Montalcino, who will do their best to sort
things out. If you remain unsatisfied that your complaint has
been dealt with appropriately, please tell us about it as soon
as you get back, and certainly within thirty days of the end
of the holiday. |
